We followed a strict project flow, starting from research, user journey mapping, sitemapping, wireframing and high fidelity design. We recognised project opportunities – such as a live Diamond Builder – which assisted in making the solution industry-leading. The project was so successful that internal processes have adjusted to now utilise the website as an in-store solution at point of sale, particularly the diamond builder function.
Following launch, we conducted a comprehensive SEO Audit to provide the basis for our strategy. We then implemented technical SEO to fix all errors based on our audit, including schema markups to achieve review snippets for star ratings on search results.
From there, we implemented a content strategy to boost product category page content and articles broadly. This helped achieve some initial results and boosted share of voice on search. Lastly, we built high quality backlinks to assist in building the domain profile long-term.
By integrating their CRM with Google Ads, we determined which keywords were driving the highest value sales for Cerrone, and using this data to inform both our paid media and organic search strategies.
This approach continues to be a success with search traffic and subsequent sales volumes increasing month on month.
