Sealy of Australia conducted an extensive search for a digital agency that shared their vision – to assist in first building brand conviction online, and then simplified the selection process to ensure users are connected to their most suitable mattress. Sealy of Australia conducted an extensive search for a digital agency that shared their vision – to assist in first building brand conviction online, and then simplified the selection process to ensure users are connected to their most suitable mattress. Enter G Squared.

Solution

We worked closely with the Sealy of Australia team to intimately understand their user personas, and accordingly designed various journey flows to suit their diverse needs. Central to this was creating a staggered-selection menu, which reduced choice paralysis at each stage of product consideration. Working in tandem with this was a revitalised Mattress Selector, which was reduced to 5 total steps and included more interactive UI elements to prompt engagement.

The website and new experience has been widely celebrated by Sealy Posturepedic customers, partners, retailers and of course – the client itself. We continue to work closely together to ensure the website evolves over time, allowing the data to drive the ongoing strategy.

Results

The thorough consulting work conducted in the initial phase of the project is what set it up for success – in intimately understanding business needs, and then putting the user at the centre of the experience design solution.
