2025 was an eventful year for G Squared. In this article, I'll take you through some key highlights from last year and what we're planning for 2026.

2025 in review

We established Wordie, our AI-enabled WordPress agency, allowing G Squared to focus more on performance marketing and enterprise technology solutions.

We achieved outstanding results for our clients across the board – with a huge number of clients achieving record months throughout the year.

Our leadership team took a new look, with Jules Ward coming in as our head of SEO, and Ollie de Vries filling in as head of paid media for Steph Hasouros, who is on parental leave.

Our wider team all achieved great success, which we saw through promotions, awards and industry recognition.

Finally, we welcomed over 20 new clients to the business, working across paid media, SEO and web. These include Hort Innovation, Thrills, Toshiba, W Cosmetics and Junior Adventures Group.

2026 update

Onto 2026 – our team is flying high following strong performance in the back half of 2025, working with clients on 2026 strategies to help them scale and continue to drive real business results. From our side, it seems clients are comfortable increasing their investments in digital again, with performance in 2025 markedly improving from years prior. This has meant more briefs, more pitch work, and more activity to optimise as we start the year.

We’ve also just finished our annual team leads offsite, from which we’ll be making some exciting developments in the coming months. While a lot of this is related to process and operations, our positioning has also been sharpened, and our services will be taking a new look to reflect the challenges our clients are facing. Watch this space.

We also recently launched our Accelerate offering, which is a hybrid Sydney-based/off-shore paid media and SEO service, provided at a discounted hourly rate to give clients with budgets between $3,000-$5,000/mth access to our services. Accelerate is targeted at scale ups; our aim is to drive revenue and profit which will be reinvested in digital as their business grows.

Andromeda

There’s also been big changes in Meta Ads over the past few months, with the introduction of Andromeda changing the landscape significantly. We identified a few years ago that creative was a key lever for brands to pull in driving results through platforms like Meta and launched a creative offering to help deliver that. Andromeda is something we’re keen to lean in to with our creative and paid teams, allowing Meta to fully optimise delivery of campaigns based on creative alone. Early results are impressive, and we have a case study going live in the coming weeks which demonstrates that.

Where AI fits in

Finally, AI. Our approach has always been one of caution. We’ve invested, pulled back, gone in, pulled back again, multiple times over the past few years. In recent months, it’s become very clear where AI fits into the puzzle in our agency. Already, we’ve deployed agents to help drive better quality and more efficient workflows across all of our services. Our processes and internal procedures have been optimised, and we’re able to deliver more value to clients through strategy, campaign optimisation, and innovation. Monotonous tasks that chewed up hours have been automated, and our team composition skews more senior. This experience helps us provide strategic support to clients, helping drive better business results.

This year, we’re excited about what more we can automate, agents we can deploy, and how this will help drive even better results for our clients. Our service model is perfectly suited to innovation through AI, with the benefits (both cost and quality of work) being passed on to our clients instantly, allowing them to reap the benefits through more revenue and more leads.

We’re looking forward to continuing our partnerships with our current clients and forming new ones in 2026, and as always please feel free to reach out to myself or our team if there’s anything we can assist with.

Our awards.
