Define: we look to define your user personas, gaining an understanding on their behaviours, motivations, device usage and limitations. We also define the wider context surrounding your brand, including a comprehensive competitor analysis which allows us to recognise project opportunities.
Understand: we then look to match your user personas to particular business objectives, which allows us to understand the commercial end goal of each group.
Map: the site structure and user flow is then mapped, including a 360 view on the various website entry points and anticipated end-result/conversion.
Create: we then bring these journeys to life via low and high-fidelity designs, and build them out via prototyping technologies to allow ease of review and prompt early user testing.
Our User Experience Design follows an overarching mantra: what would the user want? Often, this means breaking away from thinking like designers, developers and marketers and instead truly adopting the user’s persona and thinking about their needs first & foremost. This is underpinned by an extensive UX process, which involves user persona definition, user flow definition & mapping, site-mapping, wireframing, prototyping & early user testing.
Our UI process then follows this experience-first approach, looking to bring to life your solution through carefully-crafted design. Each element is given considerable thought, and brought together in our UI Guide which acts as an extension to your brand guidelines, outlining key rules & guidelines for your design (and rationale for each element).
Our web development team work closely with our UI & UX teams in bringing to life the creative solution. We work with all the major open-source Content Management Systems, eCommerce platforms and PHP frameworks.
Essential to a smooth deployment and handover is a comprehensive testing process. We do not rely on system & user testing occurring only at the conclusion of a project – instead, we test early and often to ensure we are constantly in a process of re-evaluation.
Our Web Design & Development service is not over at deployment. We offer 3 months complementary phone & email support, and include a 12 month website warranty – which is double the industry standard.
We also offer an ongoing Maintenance & Support service where we run monthly health & performance checks, and update CMS & plugins where necessary.
